Tasneem Salah is an accomplished artist who has been honing her craft since the age of 6. Currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, she has cultivated her artistic skills as a self-taught artist alongside her career as a software engineer. What distinguishes Tasneem's art is her unique fusion of logical thinking with artistic creativity, enabling her to convey messages of hope in a distinctive manner. Her most recent work delves into the realm of optical illusions, offering a dynamic and transformative artistic experience with every rotation.
Tasneem's art has gained recognition through exhibitions at numerous prestigious art fairs both in the United States and the United Arab Emirates. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Tasneem is a dedicated volunteer in the UC Medical Health Art Therapy program. Her groundbreaking use of wheelchair art as a therapeutic tool for patients at one of the nation's largest hospitals showcases her commitment to bringing art's healing power to diverse audiences. Tasneem's achievements have also earned her acclaim, notably as one of the top 5 favorite discoveries at INDEX Dubai.

Exhibited my optical illusion based art in Superfine SF. I made a colored version of the artworks and used canvas on foam board material. The lightweight material made it easy have it spin automatically using electric turntables attached to the wall. To see more: Exhibitions

Tasneem was exhibiting a collection of interactive paintings on ‘Artist’s Avenue’ that could be rotated to reveal 2 different images. I was fascinated by the artist’s invitation to see things from a different perspective. Tasneem appreciates that we all see things differently from one another and believes we should try to “see the other view”.
